Seriously.... ppl here need to get outta their zombie-like state and open up their eyes and ears... i'm getting sick of this damn place.... i have a feeling working here will be hell....

So finally I’ve gotten around to updating xanga… wow it’s been like wut, 1 yr since I last updated… haha… yep.  Was in the army for the past year, still am though hhahah. Just recently finished training to become an officer <- (if u dunno wut that is… er… I can’t help u). Ok basically there are two kinds of commanders, officers and non-commissioned officers… yeah officers are commissioned by the president. So basically the only diff is u hafta salute officers and call them “sir” hehe…

training has been tough for the past year… hella lot of physical shit… running, carrying heavy loads on ur back and walking like 60km over a span of 2 days 2 nights… overseas training exercises in Brunei and Thailand (those were the worst… omg… almost died)…  in Brunei, it’ll rain like nobody’s business and u’ll be drenched all throughout… in Thailand, it’s scorching hot, to the point of burning…. Like 35C… imagine wearing a helmet, carrying a big-ass backpack (we call it a field pack), and in long sleeves, walking in that kinda weather for 3 days….  yah, but looking back, I really enjoyed those trips cuz we learn how to survive and adapt to harsh conditions. bonded really well with my buddies

So last week I finally commissioned as an officer… my booboo came down for my parade, which was really sweet of her *MWAH*… thanks for supporting me all throughout my training dear… was hard for us but we still made it through… all our bickering and stuff hahaha…. It’s funny when we look back at it huh? Hehe… thanks dear… here are a couple pics from my parade…

this was before i commissioned.. before the rank was changed haha

this was after i commissioned, notice the rank change... 1 bar there now hahah.. i have a marksman and a physical fitness gold badge on my left arm too

me and my beautiful booboo

booboo saluting!!!! btw, that's the british salute... we don't do that here dearie ...

we get a sword too

the gang in thailand...

So I’m basically back into the world now… 8am-6pm job as a staff officer for the National day parade 2007… hahah… freakin hell, I’m the busiest of all my buddies… they do like nothing everyday, and I’m basically a SOHO… well I guess it gives me a taste of what working life actually is… I hafta call many different companies who are involved in the construction of the stadium… coordinate everything ugh…. hope it turns out well…

man it feels great to be back into the world… freedom rulz!
